Y1: Paddington Bear Visit

5th Mar 2021

Today the children had a very special visitor the one and only Paddington Bear!

Yes, Paddington bear visited our Y1 children!

H was really happy to answer the questions the children had written; sharing lots of information about life living with the Brown family.

The children's used special words life 'what', 'why', 'where', 'when', 'how', 'can' and 'do'.

Sadly, Mrs Sambrook missed the visit, because she had to take an urgent phone call at the precise time that Paddington Bear arrived!

Mrs Sambrook was so sad to have missed the meeting and so the children wrote about the visit so that she could also find out about Paddington Bear's life.

The were amazing and managed to write independently for an extended period of time - choosing what they wanted to write so that it was the very best that it could be.

The children showed fantastic resilience, because they were enjoying the task and Mrs Sambrook loved reading their work!

Well done to all our Y1 superstars!
