Our 'Statement to Live By'

2nd May 2021

Our ‘statement to live by’ is “I can recognise comfortable and uncomfortable feelings.”

Time to talk: At St John Fisher we know that we each have the right to feel happy, safe and loved, in and out of school, every single day.

We know the things in our lives that make us feel safe and comfortable and we also know when something (or someone) does not make us feel safe or comfortable.

If anything (or anyone) ever makes us feel uncomfortable or unsafe then we must tell, tell, tell!

If you are brave enough to take this step, and share a worry, then you will always be listened to carefully; your worry will always be taken seriously; and whichever grown-up in school you choose to tell will always work hard to make sure that you receive the help and support that you need.
