The Act of Contrition

During Advent we prepare for Christmas by saying sorry for our mistakes and by trying hard to make those key changes in our lives that we need to make. Our prayer is called the Act of Contrition.

O my God

Because You are so good –

I am very sorry,

That I have sinned against You,

And by the help of Your grace,

I will not sin again.
