Our Latest Statement of Belief

29th Sep 2024

Our Statement of Belief

Next week our ‘statement of Belief’ continues to be about forgiveness. It is “I know how to show I am sorry.”

Time to talk: You could think about what being sorry is really like. What does it actually mean - to be sorry?

How can we show that we are sorry?  How should we show we are sorry?

Why is it so difficult to actually say sorry sometimes?

Why does Jesus challenge us to say sorry when we have hurt others and have been unkind or unfair?

How does it feel when you pluck up the courage to say sorry - and you are then forgiven, unconditionally?
