Our Latest BYB Challenge

3rd May 2025

Our latest Beat Your Best challenge, invented by our Sports Majors, is based on volleyball, and the aim is to be 'The King of the Court'!

The aim is to use your hands to strike the ball, under control, in to your opponents part of the court. They then will use their hands to hit it back. They can have up to two touches, one to control the ball, and one to hit it back, or they can hit it straight back, if they do not need to bring it under control first. The opponent can also allow the ball to bounce once, if they need more time.

If the ball bounces more than once; the opponent misses the ball; or the opponent hits the ball outside of the court, then the other player will get a point. The winner is the player who gets to five points first.

Sports Majors will be on hand to help, coach and referee.

Why not join them at break times and have a go? Why not have a go at home, and challenge familiy members, neighbours and friends?

Will you improve over the week? Will you beat your best?
