Our Book of the Week for Older Children

7th May 2021

This week’s recommendation for our older children comes from Mr Wallace and is ‘Survival in Space: The Apollo 13 Mission’ which was written by David Long and illustrated by Stefano Tambellini.

Mr Wallace writes:

“I really like this non-fiction book because I’m very interested in space travel and science. It’s all about the Apollo 13 mission to land on the moon, and the amazing adventure of the mission crew.  It’s full of brilliant facts and it’s a very exciting (and true) story!”
