Our 'Statement to Live By'

21st Sep 2018

Our ‘statement to live by’ continues the forgiveness theme, and is “I know how to show I am sorry.”

Time to talk: Time to talk: Together you could think about what being sorry is really like.

  • What does it mean to be sorry?
  • How can we show that we are sorry?
  • Why is it so hard to say sorry sometimes?
  • Why does Jesus challenge us to say sorry when we have been unkind or unfair to others?
  • How does it feel when you say sorry and are then forgiven?
  • How does it feel when someone who has hurt you says sorry and really means it?
