Nurse Denham

Today to kick off our work linked to Be Happy, Be Safe week we welcomed nurse Denham into school.  Using green glitter she showed us how germs can be spread and explained the importance of hand washing.  The children then practised the hand washing technique.  Later on they wrote instructions to tell younger children how to do it, thinking hard about the bossy (imperative) verb they needed to use.
