Y1 English: Notes from Sunny the meerkat

In our key text 'Meerkat Mail', Sunny the meerkat decides to leave home and go travelling and writes a note to his grown-ups to tell them why he was leaving. 

Today the children pretended to be Sunny the meerkat and wrote their own notes to explain why they wanted to leave their home desert in order to go travelling.

They all tried really hard to use capital letters for new sentences; full stops at the end of sentences; and some children even managed to use some great adjectives to describe nouns.
