The children have been revisiting previous learning about non-fiction books. We have linked this to our current work on plants as we explored how headings, labels, captions, contents pages, pictures, diagrams and photographs are used in the book.
The children then created their own non-fiction and adding diagrams of plants! These were then labelled their diagrams and added a caption to explain the function of that part of the plant. They concluded their work by adding page numbers and a contents page.
