Meet the Governors: Mr Matthew Watters

29th Jun 2019

Meet The Governors

Mr Matthew Watters

Hi. My name is Matthew and I have been a Foundation Governor for over six years. I am also, currently, the Vice-Chair of the Governing Body. Over that time I have seen many changes in the School and been fortunate enough to see the school grow from strength to strength.

I am married to Sally, who was an active member of the PTFA for many years. We have two daughters; Abigail, who is 15, and Emma, 13. Both attended St John Fisher and now attend All Saints.

I am a pharmacist and I have worked for Boots for nearly 30 years. During that time I have held various different management and leadership positions, which have involved interpreting and analysing data. This has proved very beneficial in my role as a Governor, particularly in analysing pupil progress and attainment. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, playing the guitar and spending time with my family.
