This week in FS2 we have been learning how to use more accurate vocabulary for measures.
We explored capacity, talking about full, empty and half-full.
We learned about weight using the vocabulary heavier , lighter and the same or equal weight.
Then we learned about length using the words shorter and longer.
We challenged the children to use these words instead of simply 'bigger' and 'smaller'.
At the end of the week we did an interesting investigation in to length using strips of paper!
