Maths Day!

2nd Feb 2018

Today we had to help the Three Little Pigs build a new house. We were given 30p to go to 'The Big Bad Wolf DIY shop' to buy the equipment and materials we needed. We then had to make a house with the things we had bought, work out the total cost of our houses and calculate any change. We then had to look at who built the most expensive/cheapest house for the pigs.

We could choose our own way of solving the calculations. Some of us used: number lines, 100 squares, coins and our number bond knowledge. We had great fun and did lots and lots of maths!
