The children have been trying to used manipulatives to support their learning and understanding of related facts. This means that if they know that 4 + 3 = 7, then they also know the following:
3 + 4 = 7
7 - 3 = 4
7 - 4 = 3
They really rose to the challenge, also using lots of related vocabulary.
