The children have been making great use of different maths resources to support them when counting different amounts of coins between 11 and 40. They counted out groups of 10 and then seperated the ones left over.
Finally, they counted the groups of 10 and added on the ones, e.g. 35 coins was separated in to three groups of 10 and the final five ones were added to make 35.
