Materials hunt

21st Jan 2018

Today the children have begun to think about the material objects are made from.  Some of the ones they thought of are: glass, plastic, metal, wood and fabric. We sorted lots of objects into the correct group and as the children did this they described each object e.g hard, soft, smooth, transparent, dull etc. We then went on a materials hunt around school looking at objects and deciding hat material it was made from.

Maybe your child would like to do the same at home and tell you what material different objects are made from!
