In Y5 we are beginning to work with very big numbers.

This week we played a game where we could be very nasty indeed. We had to make the biggest number we could on a five digit place value grid- which meant we were counting up to the ten thousands. We rolled a dice and could place the number anywhere on our grid to try and make the biggest number we could.

However, we could also sabotage our opponents grid by placing the number on there's to try and make sure that our numbers were the biggest.
