FS2 RE: Learning About Diwali

This week we have learned about the Hindu festival of Diwali.

We have talked about ways Diwali is celebrated and made links to Christmas.

We have learned about the story of Rama and Sita making shadow puppets and sculpted our own diva lamps out of clay.

We decorated the divas with paint and glitter to highlight the colour and sparkle of the Diwali festival.
