Our Y3 children have designed and created hand fantastic puppets.
They had to know how to select appropriate tools and techniques for making their product and explain their plans, including what technique(s) they would use - and why. They measured, marked out, cut, scored and assembled components, trying hard to be as accurate as possible.
As they were making their bee puppets, some children had to adapt and alter their their designs based after evaluating them and considering how well the making process was going.
The children all worked really well and have made some super designs.
