Investigating Seeds

In FS2 the children have been finding out that different plants have different seeds or bulbs. They have been looking closely at a range of seeds, taking note of their shapes, sizes and textures. They used a range of information books and the internet to discover more. Throughout the week they had a chance to investigate seeds more closely during snacktime, noticing their sizes and whether they are found in or outside different fruits .
