Y1 Parents/Carers: Invitation to a Meeting about the Y1 National Phonics Screen 2025

23rd Apr 2025

A reminder that each June, all Y1 children are required to take part in a statutory phonics screen. We therefore look forward to welcoming all Y1 parents and carers to a short meeting after school on Tuesday 29th April 2025 at 3.30pm, in the Y6 classroom. Supervised childcare will be provided.

During the meeting, important information will be shared about the process along with tips for supporting and preparing children at home in the lead up to the screening. We therefore urge all Y1 parents/carers to attend -  even if they have older children who have gone through the screening process previously.

Thank you for your continuing support.
