FS2 Be Safe - Be Happy Week: How to be a Lion!

5th Nov 2021

As part of our FS2 Be safe - Be Happy Week we thought about friendship and to share a positive anti-bullying message as we read “How to be a Lion”.

The lion in the story is not like the other lions because he likes poetry and thinking. The other lions wanted to eat his friend so they got together and shared the message: 'There is more than one way to be a lion!'.

The book linked well to the work we are doing in PSHCE about being special and unique. We also used the story to reinforce the important message to always “tell, tell, tell” if something or someone worries us.

We each made wonderful lion masks to help us to be brave!
