HONESTY: Our Term 2 Learning Value

27th Oct 2025
To be honest means to tell the truth and to do the right thing, even when it’s hard. Honest people don’t say or do things they know are untrue. They take responsibility for what they say and do, and they don’t try to hide the truth.

Being honest isn’t just about telling the truth to others — it’s also about being truthful with ourselves. It means thinking about why we do things, what helps us, and what holds us back.
Honesty is also about staying true to our values and beliefs, even when we might feel pressure not to. It’s not always easy to be honest, but it’s something we should always try to do — in our learning and in our lives.
