Y4 History: The Vikings!

In our brand new History topic, our Y4 children were introduced to the Vikings.

They learned how they began travelling from Scandinavia in long ships as traders, with some settling here in Britain. The children also explored the timeline of the era, developing an understanding of overlaps and links with our previous topic, the Anglo Saxons.

The children are very excited to be starting such an interesting new topic, and have already created some beautiful work.
