As part of their investigation of artefacts the children have been sharing some special toys they have brought in from home, with each other.
They were asked to talk about:
- what the toy is (called)
- why the toy is special to them;
- what it does/how it works; and
- what it is made from
The children drew pictures of their toys, very carefully and wrote a sentence to help describe it.
In the coming weeks the children will consider how toys have changed over the years.
