Y1 History: Investigating Transport

12th Jan 2025

The children have started a new history topic about transport. They talked about they knew already and shared things that they wonder about, and want to know.

They then worked in teams to think of as many different types of transport as they could before sorting them in groups for air, sea or land.

In the next lesson the children will investigate older and newer vehicles and explore and consider similarities and differences between them.

Please support your child at home by investigating different sorts of vehicles on the internet, including older vehicles too. Also, look out for the optional transport-linked home activity sheet, that is coming home soon. This has lots of ideas for fun things to do together.
