Y1 History: Sorting Toys

Our young historians have been thinking about toys that they play with and those from the past. They investigated the materials used; if and how they were powered (batteries/electronic/mechanical); how new or worn they appeared to be; and whether they had toys that were similar. Using all the clues, the children then classified the toys.
