Hanukkah

This week we have been learning about the Jewish festival Hanukkah.

We had a little party and played 'Dreidel' (a special four sided spinning top).

In our games the children could win or lose a certain amount of chocolate coins.

We also ate (and enjoyed) small doughnuts to signify the connection to the oil lamps and we made Menorahs (special Jewish candelabras) as part of our art work.
