Y1 Geography & English: Exploring London Landmarks!
In our recent geography lessons we have been learning about the four nations that make up the United Kingdom. We have also learned the names of their capital cities.
In the last week of Term 5week we focused on London and investigated some of its landmarks and features. The children then painted their own pictures of some famous London landmarks.
In our English lessons the children explored what postcard are and what they include as they investigated examples. They then planned their own and then wrote a postcard as though they had been to visit London.
