Y1 Geography: Investigating Our Local Area

Today, in our Geography lesson, we went out into our local area to do some important fieldwork.

We have been investigating our local area from above using evidence provided by aerial photos. Today the children were looking out for different features, both physical and human, to record on their sheet.

A huge thank you to all the adult volunteers who accompanied and supported the children on our walk today. Without them it would not have been possible.

Next week the children will use the information they collected in order to plan and draft their own simple maps.
