We have been thinking about plants that we see in garden (as opposed to wild flowers) and naming them.
The children we able to name lots including: rose, lily, pansy, iris, daffodil and sunflower.
The children enjoyed talking about the flowering plants they have in their and their grandparent's gardens.
Maybe you could look for more garden flowers if you are out for a walk and have the opportunity to see other gardens as well as your own.
