FS2 Transition Out Meeting

4th Jun 2024

The Parents and Carers of our current FS2 children are invited to join us for a special transition meeting on Tuesday 11th June 2024 at 3.30pm in the Y6 classroom. The children will be supervised by school staff in a different room close by.

Mrs Barratt will talk about the end-of-year reports and share information some of the the different ways that you can continue to support your child's progress; end of term events that being planned; and their 'Tapestry' learning journal.

She will also discuss what we are doing to prepare them for transition to Y1, in September, as they move in to Key Stage 1. There may also be an opportunity to meet their new teachers.

FS2 parents/carers are asked to contact school and confirm whether they will attend or not. This can be done in any of the following ways:

  • speaking to a member of staff in the school office
  • emailing us (enquiries@st-johnfisher.org)
  • phoning us (01142485009)
  • messaging us via your 'Tapestry' account
