FS2 RE: Birthdays

In RE we have been exploring the different ways people prepare for birthday celebrations.

This will help the children to understand that Advent is a very special time when we prepare for Jesus' birthday.

We have a class puppet who joins us for RE, called Christian, and it was his birthday last week. The children talked about how he might be feeling and what we needed to do to prepare. We decorated the classroom and made invitations to get ready for a party on Thursday.
