SJF Sports Day 2025: The Festival of Sports

10th Jun 2025

On the morning of Sports Day we held our annual Festival Sports. The children were split into ten teams across both key stages and FS2 and participated in a crousel of activities set up with the help of our Sports Majors. The children could earn points both for their active participation and for demonstrating our school values (passion, determination, honesty, respect, self-belief and teamwork).

Thankfully the weather remained dry so this special event could go ahead, and what a fantastic experience it was. It was lovely to see the children supporting each other, and their buddies too.

We congratulate all the individual winners who stood out particularly for demonstrating our school values, and say a massive "Well done!" to Team-Uruguay, our overall winners in the team competition this year, after earning a whopping 574 points!

Well done to all the children, and huge thanks to Mrs Broadhead and our fantastic volunteers and staff members for making the occasion so special and memorable for the children.
