Our SJF Eco Team met to plan for the upcoming spring season, sharing a range of thoughtful and creative ideas. They began by discussing how to involve the wider school in a bird and bug count, which will take place over the coming weeks, before turning their attention to an upcoming fundraiser set to launch after the Easter holiday.
The team then designed posters for the school display board, drawing on the Eco Values they agreed at the start of the year. They worked with great focus and collaboration, supporting one another to develop and refine their ideas.
Libby, a Y5 Eco Team member, said, “This week, the Eco Team made posters for our display. We had fun decorating them and making them eye-catching, but there is a serious message in them.”
The team will meet again next week to complete their posters and continue planning their fundraising efforts.
