I our new topic the children are learning how to create healthy meals, and specifically, salads.
The children have been learning about different fruits and vegetables, using their senses to describe what they look like and how they feel whilst thinking about where they grow. They discovered that some grew underground, some at ground level and and others on different fruit trees and bushes.
In groups the children completed a sorting activity with a focus on speaking and listening within the group.
