The children enjoyed exploring a selection of books that had moving parts.
Some of the children wondered about the moving pictures including:
- Gigi: "How do the books move?"
- Lucy: "I wonder how they pop out?"
- Georgie: "How does it work when we open the book?"
Over the coming weeks the children will explore and develop the knowledge and skills needed to add moving parts to pictures so that they can find the answers to the the things they were wondering about.
Next week they will be investigating, designing and making slider mechanisms.
