The children have been learning about the importance of having a healthy balanced diet; of more and more healthy foods and and the '5 a day'. The children know that treats are fine to eat as long they are eaten in moderation and balanced so that the children enjoy a mixture of different food groups.
The children designed their own healthy meal, using foods from different food groups. Over the next few weeks they will plan a healthy salad before preparing it for themselves.
