We have practised more of our new Y1 routines and made a good start at handwriting in our new grown-up books!

We have each created a coat of arms about ourselves and met the Read Write Inc. teacher who will be teaching us phonics - the building blocks needed to be a confident and fluent reader! 

We achieved all that in one morning! 

This afternoon we had time to do some choosing time whilst Mrs Sambrook meets our parents this afternoon.
