Y1 Art & Mathematics: Creating Patterns

Our Y1 children linked art and mathematics through their work on repeating patterns. In art, they explored printing techniques, whilst in mathematics they created both 2D and 3D patterns. The children experimented with colour patterns, shape patterns, and even combinations of both.
