SJF Christmas Events

25th Nov 2024

Monday 2nd to Friday 13th December 2024: Advent Class Reflections                                       

Parents/carers are invited to join us for one of the six class Advent reflections from 3pm. As places are limited, please book through the school office.

 

Wednesday 11th December 2024: Annual Pantomime Visit

Please book or provide a cold/packed lunch. Children will return at approximately 5pm. Full details and all the arrangements will be shared shortly. Full school uniform, please. 

 

Tuesday 17th December 2024: Nativity Plays

Our FS2 children are performing ‘The Sleepy Shepherd’ and this will start at 9:30am. On the day the children will go to class, in the usual way and whilst they are getting ready, refreshments will be served to the FS2 parents/carers in the school hall. Children are asked to wear PE uniform on this day, because it is easier for them to get changed in and out of. 

The children of Years 1 and 2 will perform the nativity, ‘It’s a Baby’, at 2.15pm. Doors will open at 2.00pm. Children are asked to wear PE uniform on this day, because it is easier for them to get changed in and out of. 


Wednesday 18th December 2024: Christmas Dinner

It is a non-uniform dress up or down day for everyone, please be sure to order your child's dinner in time!

 

Thursday 19th December 2024: Community Carol Service 2024

The children of Key Stage 2 (Years Y3 to Y6) will lead our annual Community Carol Service in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, starting at 2.00pm, followed by refreshments and a raffle in the school hall. Full school uniform please.


Friday 20th December 2024: Santa in School Day 2024

A reminder that Santa is visiting  and as it is such a special occasion, it will be a non-uniform day. Santa is expected to land at 8.45am and you are invited to join us in welcoming him! This is a very special event in the school calendar and takes months to plan. We thank our PTFA committee and all those who support them in making this day so special for the children.
