FS2: Changing Trees!

9th Nov 2025

When the children in FS2 returned to class this week, they were eager to investigate whether the trees had changed since we were last at school. Our favourite tree in the garden was almost glowing with beautiful oranges and yellows — we all agreed it was no longer a good hiding spot for playing hide and seek!

We explored the school grounds carefully, looking both up at the trees and down at the ground. The deciduous trees had changed so much, making it much easier to spot the evergreens. We loved how crunchy the dry leaves felt under our feet.

Back in class, we used the fallen leaves to make colourful ‘leaf confetti’ and decorated the initial letter of our names — it looked wonderful!
