Y1: Investigating Captain Cook

Yesterday the children learned all about how Captain Cook landed on Australia and claimed the land for King George III.

We talked about how they traded with the aborigines and that lots of people travelled to Australia to live there.

The children then had chance to role play what they had found out.

Each group then performed their short plays to the class.
