Last weekend our cocoons turned in to butterflies.
We observed them in their net habitat for a couple of days then released them on Tuesday.
Some children were even able to hold a butterfly too.
When the butterflies were ready we watched them fly away.
We have written about the butterflies and completed maths activities linked to symmetry.
