Black History Week...Nelson Mandela!

For Black History Week we have been learning all about Nelson Mandela's incredible life. We have learnt about every stage of his fight for equality, from his imprisonment on Robben Island to his presidency of South Africa. Inspired by Nelson Mandela's reference to South Africa as the 'rainbow nation', Year 5 have created some fantastic multicolored Nelson Mandela portraits.
