This week in FS2 we learned about the life of John Coltrane.
We learned that he played a very important part in the world of jazz music, especially at the start.
We listened to some jazz and danced along as we did so.
The music was fast and lively children said it made them feel excited!
Then we had a look at a real saxophone and some children had a go at drawing the shape.
Later in the week Mr Shepherd cane and played the saxophone for the class, it was amazing!
