BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS AND SCAMS

We have been informed that some parents carers across the city have received emails stating the following:

‘As schools will be closing, if you’re entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we’ll make sure you’re supported’.

We can confirm that this is a scam email and is not official.

We therefore urge parents who receive this or similar emails to please not respond and delete it immediately!

You will not be sent these sorts of email by legitimate organisations.
