Being good friends

9th Nov 2017

Today we have been thinking about what makes a good friend.  We thought about how we would like to be treated ourselves.  We worked in teams to think of lots of ideas and then shared these.  Using these we all made a friend ship hand (leaf) that is now part of our Friendship Tree and autumn display.

We then thought about the fact that we are all different and unique and that is what makes us special.  We discussed what bullying is and how is it can make people feel.  The children thought of what to do if they were feeling sad or they spotted someone else who was sad.  They decided that telling a grown up is VERY important.
