Our Beat Your Best Challenge!

24th Feb 2023

Here is a message from Miss Barrett

Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a fantastic first week back!

Thanks to everyone who came and join in with Freddie's tricky basketball bouncing challenge! A special shout out goes to Renae and Charlotte (Y3) and Hugo (Y5) who gave it a go every day, as well as Oscar (Y6) who managed to achieve an enormous count of 210!

Well done to you all!

Our challenge this week has been set by Priscilla, another of our amazing Sports Majors. She's come up with an entire obstacle course for everyone to have a go at...

How quickly can you:

  • weave between the cones
  • hula-hoop five times
  • a frog walk
  • weave between the cones again
  • bounce a ball on a tennis racket ten times

...all while balancing a bean bag on your head!

This one is a real challenge, but it does sound like it will be amazing fun. Well done Priscilla!

I hope to see lots of you at playtime, ready to come and have a go. Just remember to let Priscilla of me know the times that you achieve, and don't worry, I'll remember the stopwatch this time!
