Y2 Be Safe Be Happy Week 2025: Our Visit from PC Connell

Our Y2 children were super excited to meet PC Connell from South Yorkshire Police as they learned more about some of the special who keep everyone safe. The children were confident that they knew exactly what a police officer did:

                                                                      'They catch the bad guys and put them in prison!'

However, they learned that there is also much more to be being a police officer, including all the different things they do to help people safe. PC Connell showed the children some of the equipment police officers use and how they worked. They also looked around the patrol car and heard the the sirens!
